IA Ventures
The office design for this growing, Flatiron district, venture capital firm incorporated a “non-traditional” open-ness within their casual office environment; lots of glass, and obvious transparency, allows full view across the 3600 SF of office space and connectivity between partners, employees, consultants and clients. The three primary conference rooms are outfitted with translucent paneled garage doors, allowing them to remain singular, or open up to create a larger environment for seminars and meetings. The two private, smaller, “call rooms” are housed inside of a lozenge shaped pod, with lowered ceilings, sliding residential-style, french patio doors, and a painted wood wrapped exterior. MZA also served as the interior designer, selecting furniture and furnishings, designing custom desks, specifying lighting and shading systems, outlining the kitchenette, and working with the clients to choose all finishes.
