Hillside Residence

The design of a modern house began with a response to the hillside site, (which would become filled with wild flowers).  Eileen Gray’s ‘House by the Sea’ and the California Case Study houses were inspirations for the design.

A strong connection between interior and exterior spaces is maintained throughout, filling the house with daylight and offering selected views of the surrounding hills and immediate landscape.
