MZA's second project with Vanderbilt University (the Schulman Center for Jewish Life was completed some 10 years ago) is well underway. The Sigma Alpha Epsilon House renovation, being built by Wieck Construction, broke ground a couple months ago with re-roofing, and now windows are arriving, walls are framed in, plumbing roughed, and walls cut out for reconfiguration. A large, cantilevered exterior canopy structure will be added to the rear of the chapter room allowing 3 new glass gaarge doors to open up to a covered space, extending the interior outward. The project is scheduled for completion by Fall semester 2014.
