Zeitgeist and Wilder have curated an amazing show of works by Nashville artist Arthur Orr, opening tomorrow.

Orr was a Nashville artist and educator whose work laid the foundation for the strong Nashville studio arts community we enjoy today. The exhibit features work from the 1970s and 80s, displaying Orr's work with geometric forms, outlined in color gradients floating in various articulated backgrounds.

Orr's work has been exhibited the Frist Art Museum, Tennessee State Museum, and High Museum of Art and was also featured in the exhibition series that later became the Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of Art. This is an important show, coordinated with Orr's estate, and is one not to be missed.
