Elliott Germantown was recently awarded a Nashville Metro Historical Commission Award. Led by MZA’s Nelle Bevins, the project transformed the former Germantown area Elliott School into multi-family housing. The award recognized attention to detail in retaining the school’s features while adapting the classroom spaces for modern living. We salute Nelle for her impeccable work on this project.
The Historical Commission holds the Preservation Awards program annually to celebrate National Preservation Month, which is sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and observed nationally each year in May. The theme for Preservation Month 2022 is People Saving Places.
