Rocketship Nashville Northeast Elementry

Rocketship Nashville North Elementery is the latest in a series of charter schools backed by the Turner-Agassi Charter School Facilities Fund that seek to provide high-quality education to low-income students.

Completed in July 2014, this new school is located on Dickerson Pike and serves 450 students ranging from Kindergarten to 4th grade.  The 37,000 square foot building houses 26 classrooms, gym, parent/teacher interaction spaces, and a learning lab available to all grade levels.  Natural light plays an important role in the project, and each space has access to exterior windows. The site includes three distinct play areas that can double as gardens and outdoor education spaces.

Manuel Zeitlin Architects is currently working on designs for a second Rocketship Charter School in Nashville to be open for the 2015-2016 school year.
