Hawkins Partners Inc.

Manuel Zeitlin Architects designed the repurposing of a downtown Nashville warehouse into offices for Hawkins Partners Landscape Architects.  Intentionally highlighting the existing, raw materials, the project’s stripped down interiors also focused on designing flexible spaces, functional work areas, and modern furnishings. Large, sliding, steel and glass partitions separate the main conference area from the entrance. Custom workstations are designed to accommodate large sets of drawings. Existing concrete floors were retained, stained and sealed. Site cast columns were cleaned and left as elements. The nearly 5,000 sf space effortlessly flows due to minimum use of full height partitions, maximized day lighting, and soaring ceilings.
